Supporting mothers, nourishing children.
I’m Nikki, an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Nutritionist, a mum, and the founder of Wholistic Dietetics.
My work brings together maternal and paediatric nutrition, with further training in preconception, pregnancy, breastfeeding, postnatal and paediatric dietetics. I support women and families through some of the most important nutritional stages of life, from preparing for pregnancy and nourishing a growing baby to breastfeeding, postpartum recovery and the early years of childhood.
I began my career as a paediatric dietitian, supporting children with a wide range of nutritional, feeding and medical needs. Over time, I became increasingly interested in the powerful role nutrition can play before a child is even born, and the influence we have as mothers in shaping our children’s health from the very beginning.
From preparing the body for pregnancy, to nourishing a growing baby, breastfeeding, introducing food and supporting a child through their early years, the foundations we build can have a meaningful influence on lifelong health.
But I also believe that supporting children starts with supporting their mothers.
Because it’s difficult to pour into everyone else when you’re running on empty.
I’m a mum too, slowly raising my own little boy while running my business in the Northern Rivers with my fiancé and our dog. I know that nourishing a family rarely looks perfect. Some days feel organised and nourishing, while others are simply about getting everyone fed.
And that’s exactly why my approach isn’t about perfection.
It’s about giving you the knowledge, practical strategies and reassurance to make informed decisions that work for you and your family, in real life.
My approach is evidence-based, holistic, practical and individualised. I look beyond a single symptom or meal plan to understand the bigger picture, because every mother, baby and child has different needs.
Whether you’re preparing for pregnancy, navigating pregnancy, looking for breastfeeding support, recovering postpartum or supporting your child with feeding, growth or more complex nutritional needs, you don’t have to figure it all out alone.
Nourishment for you. Support for your little one. Guidance for every stage in between.
